Philomena A Marro

(October 19, 1946-April 13, 2016)

Troy- Philomena A Marrow, 69, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2016 at the Samaratin Hospital in Troy. Born in Troy, daughter of the late Nicholas and Philomena Lanzillo Marro, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She gradutated from Troy High School in 1965 and Sage Junior College in Albany in 1994. Philomena had been employed by the Norton Company for 27 years and then Lydall in Green Island for 15 years, retiring in 2012.  She is the sister of Theresa (John) Bulmer of Troy, Rosemary (Joseph) Miorin of Peru, NY and the late Andrew Marro, whose wife Gail of Johnsonville survives. She is also survived by her aunt, Philomena Riccardi, of Troy. She is the aunt of John Bulmer, Kristen Bulmer, Andrea Marro Snyder, Lesley Ann Miorin (Dave) Gross, Jessica Miorin, Tara Marro (Justin) Zinzow and Faith Marro and great aunt of Ryan, Dustyn, and Abby Snyder and Ava Bulmer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Monday at Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy. Burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery in Troy. There will be no calling hours.
