My relationship: Cousin (his biological father and my mother were brother and sister)

On February 29, 2008, Gary died suddenly of a massive heart attack at the home he shared with his mother (she has since deceased).

Gary was predeceased by his wife, the former Melanie Broue, formally of Troy, NY. She was a graduate of Catholic Central HS in Troy in 1968.

They moved to Florida and raised 5 children, four were their biological kids and 1 was Melanie's from a previous marriage.

At Gary's request, there was no obituary or religious service. Instead, he asked that, upon his death, he be immediately cremated and both his and his wife's ashes be deposited in the Gulf of Mexico where he loved to fish.
