Randy was a great person to get to know... A GENTLE GIANT for sure ! We played football together and road the same "sorry" yellow bus together. One time Kim and another guy were mock fighting.. just messing around. Randy knew Kim but didnt know the other guy.. so Randy came up and leveled him one... ... then very apologetic to find out they were screwing around
My funniest memory of Randy. He decided to join us out at Old Tuscon and I was teaching him how to do the full contact fighting we did and there was two types of punches I was teaching him and we got our signals crossed in practice and I punching him clean in the mouth and put his tooth through his lip. I think I ran as fast as I could through Old Tucson. We had a great laugh about it and we told kids at the school that I beat him up. Not likely. But we had fun. Rest well my friend. Be at peace.
I just remembered doing the play LiL Abner in our senior year and Randy ran out into the audience during the Saidy Hawkins dance scene to grab an audience member to bring up on stage and Randy ended up grabbing a lady that was breast feeding at the time. How Embarrassing !!! They both handled it well though.
