Carol died of leukemia her first year of attendance at the University of Arizona - I believe it was 1969. She was ill in high school, however. I remember that her mother kept packing her raw vegetables in her sack lunch long before eating healthy was popular. Carol wrote in my yearbook that I was always asking her what time it was. That Christmas in 1967, my parents bought me a Helbros gold watch.
Carol was very kind and funny and had an infectious grin. I know she moved to Tucson with her family from Massachusetts. I believe her parents were missionaries. She loved having a horse and horsebackriding. If anyone knows or remembers anything about Carol, please post. Thanks -
