Bob had returned from a tour in Vietnam and (unofficially, Laos)and was discharged from the Army. I don't remember the exact date but it was sometime in February of 1972 that he died. He had come by my house earlier that day to invite me to a party in which a bunch of the old "B-Boys" were getting together (for those that are not familiar with the name, we all played as an intramural football team in '67 as the Taco Benders)for a party at Paul Miller's house. I declined. But I got a call the next day. Bobby slipped while dancing on a coffee table. He severed his spinal cord and died.
