I can't remember when I first met this reddish hair freckle face boy but I think it was 4th or 5th grade, but what I do remember is in 6th grade after Brad got a new pair of sneakers he wanted to race everyone in the 6th grade and he would win because of his new sneakers. after the years I ran into Brad and he always had that warm smile each time I saw him and a kind words.

You'll always be within our hearts.

A couple weeks ago I received word of Brad's passing, his death was unexpected and he died peacefully in his sleep. I had known Brad from our Liberty days and growing up in the same neighborhood two blocks away from one another.

We continued our friendship through high school and as adults. Brad began working at Denny's when he was a junior in high school and he never stopped working. He worked in the copper mines after graduation for many years as a welder / mechanic. He was laid off and began working for Granite Constuction for approx 12 years, after a layoff there, he returned to the copper mines approx 5 yrs ago.

Brad was such a nice guy, always willing to help others and loved to joke around, those of us who knew him could say he probably never had or made any enemies. His parents who are deceased, were the same, kind and loving. I can remember in high school, Brad never played sports but he was Sunnyside's "biggest sports fan." Brad was a cowboy's, cowboy and a Rocker!

I can go on and on and on about the fond memories I have of our Dear Friend and Classmate. Brad's world and passion were his wife Monica, his son Lee, his family, hunting and his friends.

Rest in Peace my Friend,

Mundy Gallego

sad I am shocked to hear of your/his passing on here!   He was my graduation partner and a really good friend!  I sure wish I could have kept in touch with him but lost his number and was not sure who to contact to get it back! RIP my dear friend Brad!  You will be missed!
