In Memory

James Schwerin

James Richard Schwerin 34, passed away at home in Tucson surrounded by family on February 28, 2009 after a courageous struggle with Osteosarcoma. Known as Jaime to many, he was born October 11, 1974 in Neenah, Wisconsin to Joan Chamonix Blackburn Schwerin and the late Stephen Wayne Schwerin. Jaime moved to Tucson in 1982 but remained a life-long fan of the Green Bay Packers and was proud to call himself a Cheesehead. He graduated from the University of Arizona earning degrees in Philosophy, Communication, and Religious Studies and was a proud member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Jaime excelled at playing the guitar and his prodigious talent was acknowledged by many other musicians in the community. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and served meals to the homeless on Christmas with the Roy Aros Project, and was extremely proud to have served an internship with the Pima County Sheriff Department. Jaime was a devoted son, beloved brother, uncle, and friend who always had time to listen and even more time to talk.

Miss you and our conversations all the time... Seems like yesterday we were in 4th grade and hiking through Cibicue. I love seeing your nephews at camp, it takes me back to the good old days everytime.
