Michael Joseph Mina Jr. On September 25, 2011 our beloved Michael lost his courageous battle with cancer. Michael was a very honorable man. He was born and raised in Tucson. He attend Palo Verde High School and was among the first 4 year graduating class. As a young man, Michael proudly served his country in Vietnam as a Navy Corpsman. Later in his life Michael returned to school to become a CNA and worked for several years at Posada Del Sol. He went on to lead a very fulfilling life. Among many other things, Michael enjoyed sporting events, camping, hunting, and fishing with his "brothers". Michael was survived by his sisters, Michelle, Cynthia, and Nina; his son, Anthony; and his two grandchildren, Joseph and Annabelle as well as many beloved friends. Michael was an amazing man, a devoted father and an incredible grandfather. We were blessed to have had such a beautiful angel with us here on earth. We will miss you dearly but we are so proud of you, our cherished Michael. Please join us in celebrating Michael's life and many achievements.
