For the last 40 years, Brian has been part of the stories I tell regarding my high school years. He was a wry and witty young man. We shared the same birthday, and he always could make me laugh. We partied together, worked together, hiked into Sabino Canyon together, and I got a kick out of squirming while watching him torment our teachers (Frau Stuessy, in particular). It broke my heart when his older brother was killed. It changed him somewhat, which is not surprising, and his sense of humor became dark, challenging and wildly hilarious. I am sad to learn of his passing on April 15, 2014. Rest in Peace, Brian.
