Lisa Krueger Stone, 48, of Signal Mountain, TN, went home to Heaven to live with our God and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 23, 2012 after a brave and gallant fight with cancer..jpg)
Lisa is survived by her beloved son, William Bryan (Trey) Stone, III, and, her loving husband, William Bryan (Bill) Stone, II. Also, her parents, Larry and Marilyn Krueger, Henderson, NV; brother, Jonathan Krueger, Los Angeles, CA; her parents in law, Bryan and Ann Stone, Rainbow City, AL, and brother in law, John Stone, Rainbow City, AL. Lisa was welcomed to heaven by her grandparents, Julius and Bertha Krueger, and Charles and Travis Scott.
A native of Tullahoma, TN, and later Brentwood, TN, Mrs. Stone was a graduate of Tullahoma High School, and, Middle Tennessee State University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. Lisa was an accomplished pianist and database programmer. She was employed by Schneider Electric/Square D Company for over 16 years, and had devoted the remainder of her life to Bill, Trey, her friends, neighbors and her Bible Study Sisters of Community Bible Studies, Franklin, TN.
Lisa was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Sanctuary Choir, and formerly of Brentwood Baptist Church, where she taught children’s choir and Sunday School classes for over 12 years. A shining example of God’s love and grace, Lisa was revealed in her study, and love, of the Scriptures. There is certainly a new angel singing in the angelic choirs of heaven with Lisa’s earthly departure!

Lisa and I had the opportunity to reconnect a little over a year ago when she, Bill, and Trey moved to Signal Mountain. While it had been several years, some things had not changed, particularly Lisa's friendly personality, positive mindset, and intelligent sense of humor. Not surprisingly, the Stone's quickly became part of the community including being active in our church where Lisa sang in the choir. All the traits that made Lisa such a special person came out in abundance as she waged a valiant fight against cancer. Her positive spirit and outward focus were nothing short of amazing. Most importantly, her unwavering witness and faith in Jesus Christ leaves an enduring legacy. She has touched more lives with her powerful testimony than I suspect she knows. Lisa and I had the chance to visit a couple of times in the past few weeks. Even though she was facing significant challenge, it seems the smile never left her face and her genuine interest in me and my family in the midst of her circumstances was truly humbling. Along with her brother Jonathan, we had a good time reminiscing about Tullahoma, Tullahomans and even included some confessions about paddlings received at the hands of Dr. Covington and others (for the record, we all three had contributions on the last subject). Needless to say, we laughed a lot. I have no doubt that there was much joy in heaven and plenty of smiles when God welcomed Lisa with, "well done my good and faithful servant". Bob Marshall
