Bruce passed away in February, 1995.  He's often in my thoughts as he and I were best friends.  He fought a hard battle with cystic fibrosis and was waiting on a double lung transplant when his body couldn't wait any longer.  He is truly missed but I have wonderful memories.

Bruce Wiley was one of the nicest guys I've ever known.  He was great friend to all of us.  When we were in 9th grade at Foster Junior High, we all had a blast together.  He was a great father and just a great person all around.  The old saying "the good die young" definitely applies to Bruce.  But I know that Bruce is in heaven.  He was an example of how we should all treat each other.

I caught up with Bruce during my Internal Medicine/Crtical Care residency  at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.  He caught me in the hall one day and asked me if I graduated from  East Central , Class of '71 and I said yes, then the conversation was on from there.  I got to see him off and on during rounds and other duties on the floors and was on duty that night when I heard he was coming in......But I believe, he was so critical that the ambulance decided to divert to St. Johns, so I did not get  to see him again.  He was still quite the character and always had a smile on his face, when I saw him in the halls and got to talk to him.  Jack Morgan, DO, PhD
