LeeAnn Stapleton McLain posted this heartfelt message on facebook January 31st. My highschool sweetheart and first husband of twenty years and father of our kids, Leon Brimer passed away of a massive heart attack (the doctors suspect). He was driving with his wonderful wife Cyndi and her daughter somewhere and passed out, Cyndi took the steering wheel and steered them to safety. The doctors tried but could not revive Leon.
Reunion Committee Note: Leon was a member of our 30 Year Reunion committee. He contributed his funny life stories during our meetings. We will miss you Leon, and your laughter!

I didn't have any classes with Leon and I didn't travel in the same circles but I worked in the East Central "store" with him. He was so funny and uplifting. We had a lot of fun. He was truly a great guy. Blessings go to his family.
