Doug Wilkins VIEW PROFILE

Doug was riding his Harley into Tulsa from Coweta on the night of our 20th reunion to meet with everyone at the football field...when a pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer load of hay pulled out across highway 51 in front of him. He died upon impact and never made it to the reunion. For those of us who were there that night, it was a sombering moment when the news came in. Doug had become a minister with his own flock and left behind a wife, children and his flock when he departed this Earth. He will be missed by many.

Doug I was so happy to see you before you died and heard how you had left a life of partying and had given your life to Christ. Your message at our 10th reunion was one of the most powerful I had heard.

I agree with Roger. At the 10 year reunion I was really taken back on how Doug had really changed his life and I even remember crying knowing what he said came from the heart and his apology was sincere. God has welcomed another angel.
