Yeah, the reunion where several people made their exits early in ambulances. :D

Ah, the Escort, so many fond memories. I'll just leave it at that. Same goes for a certain orangish-red Maverick, may she rest in peace!

So many memories from school were related to people's cars, huh? HeJin's VW, Matt's Camaros, Scott McCreary's and Dale House's trucks, the Kahn Supra, the Clardy S10, Mike Rogers' Jeep.

I'm sure there are more that will trigger fond remembrances, but in my advanced age, I can't recall any more just now.

How could anyone forget my green Olds Cutlass! That poor thing was just awful!

And I don't think Skateworld is there anymore. I don't recall anyone asking us if they could take it down!

Hey all, I will dig up some pictures of high school and post these. Remember my brown 1967 Pontiac LeMans? Not sure how to spell the model name. Ha Ha Ha. I loved that car, my Dad gave it to me on my 15th birthday. I will find those pictures. Can't wait to see you all.

Shoot, I don't want to wait til next year...Sometimes I wish I lived in Tulsa still!!

06/01/08 01:37 AM #17

I don't want to wait until next year either. Well it seems most of our classmates are not that far away. I am sure we are all up for a road trip!

How could I forget the gigantic LeMans? And yes, Stephanie's Cutlass. Jason Williams' Camaro. I raced him the first day I got my license and I was the only one who got a ticket 'cause he slowed down. Well, I was also the one on the wrong side of the road. Hey, but I won though. Got pulled over right in front of Jason Sullivent's house. I remember 'cause he came out to laugh at me when the cops pulled away. What mixed-feeling memory that is.

HeJin,

We should all get together this summer to help TJ out with the planning and to catch up! This has really been fun thinking about all of you and all the crazy fun stuff we did in High School!

The Skate World used to be a Mexican flea market swap meet place but its now boarded up. The Mexican Grocery store is next door to it. What fond memories of that place I had. I spent my Wed., Fridays and Saturdays there.

06/02/08 11:25 PM #22

Yep Stephanie I remember I was in Angie's parents van I turned around and bam the wreck happend. I also remembered we were trying to hurry up and get the wine coolers back in the van before the police got there.
Yes, I loved that escort. So many memories. Its great we have this to talk to each other.

I think going to a game would be great for a Friday night thing. My brother had is last year and they went to the homecoming game then had the big thing at the Aquarium.
I cant wait to start planning.

Remember Lori's car??? How could anyone forget that big ole thing roaring into the parking lot! She caught air at every one of those collosal speed bumps! I swear she never even slowed down for a turn! People scattered to avoid sudden death by Pontiac! I fully expected someone to be mounted on the hood ornament before graduation.

Good times......

I say we all meet at the resevoir and sit on tailgates and drink beer! Okay, maybe not... but we should get together.

HeJin we can always do a recreate of Padre 1989, just for you!!! I'm so glad we have this thing to talk on also because I know how busy everyone is, but it's nice to reflect and catch up!

I'm not sure if I have any leg warmers, but I'm sure we could find some somewhere!

Whattaya mean, our age? I'm still 16! In my mind, anyway. Which also means that I still can't skate and I still can't dance, but it doesn't stop me from making an ass out of myself doing either! Well, one thing has changed - I've managed to stay with one girl for eight years. Yes, she's a saint!

Oh by the way, my favorite memory of the Khan Supra was me and Chris Lancaster, both too drunk to even walk, hopping into the back seat and them hauling us outta some outdoor party where someone fell into a fire. (Billy Overman? Maybe, like I said I was verrrrry drunk.)

06/04/08 09:54 PM #29

Stephanie Teehee (Peterson)

Yanno Alex that might be the party where I turned up a bottle of 151 and drank it like it was water! I vaguely remember something about a fire, outdoors and a bunch of drunk people! I haven't been able to drink 151 since ... hahahahaha

06/04/08 11:03 PM #30

Alex Wilson

I don't remember 151. Then again I don't really remember anything else specific that I drank that night either.

Now that I think about it, it seems that we drank much Busch Light, Keystone, MAD DOG 20/20!!!!, Mickey's, Purple Passion (Everclear!!) and the girls always had about 50 different flavors of wine coolers. And this was every weekend. It's a wonder we aren't having our reunion at an AA meeting. We were (are?) a bunch of drunks!

06/05/08 07:30 AM #31

Stephanie Teehee (Peterson)

hahahaha...then again I could have the wrong party! I drink no where near the amount of liquor I use to, so I (was) a drunk! Mardi Gras is the only time I really just go overboard.

06/05/08 11:18 PM #32

Kristi Donaghue (Frank)

Okay did anyone ever come to my parties? Remember how out of control they were. Gosh, if I caught my kids doing what I did I would have a fit.

06/06/08 01:56 PM #33

Alex Wilson

There's a sobering thought for those of us with High School-age kids. What if they are doing what we used to? Kinda makes you feel bad for our parents, huh? OK not really for me. They totally knew what I was doing and didn't even try to straighten me out.

06/06/08 05:05 PM #34

Kristi Donaghue (Frank)

Yep they always knew what you were doing. Although at that time they were so cool. Huh?

06/06/08 11:24 PM #35

Alex Wilson

I don't know about cool. Mom was in denial and Dad, well dad really didn't pay attention. And I think both of them had come to grips with the fact that there was no stopping the Alex party train.

BTW, I remember the parties at your house, whether they were yours or John Mark's (sp?) it didn't matter, 'cause we all showed up, even before you and I ever got together, I partied at your house. And I think I remember who puked in your fridge - Doug Watts. If I remember correctly, Scott McCreary was an eye witness.

06/06/08 11:25 PM #36

Kristi Donaghue (Frank)

Yep your right. I had so much fun at those parties. Even though I couldnt remember what I did at them.
