Cary was always very nice to me and we enjoyed a lot of laughs. I new Cary since our days at Elliot. He was one tough athlete. Loved watching him play hockey and fond memories of the Tulsa hockey team. Cary and I raced each other for the City track and field competition in 6th grade. We ran a distance race (don't recall the distance), basically one time around the backstops of the baseball fields at Eliot's field behlnd the school. Cary edged me by a foot. He did well at the City competition. Cary had great speed and could really hit larger guys as a linebacker for Edison. His hockey ability transferred well to the football field. Cary lived a few blocks from me. Just the other day, I played golf with some Canadians and we talked about the Tulsa hockey team Cary's dad owned or maanged. The Candians had a friend that played for them back in the day. Fun memories and it was fun thinking back and telling a story about Cary taking me to a couple of the games.

All the best to Cary's family.
