MISSING CHARGERS

Dear Charger and Patriot Faithful,

Did you notice something new about the header of this page?

The reunion committee decided to “rebrand” our class — not as a gimmick, but to better reflect who we are.

So the official name is: Memorial–Mason Class of 1980.

Here’s why it matters. Many of us didn’t fully grasp how hard Mason’s closure hit our friends west of Harvard Avenue. The Class of 1980 was the first of only two classes to merge Mason and Memorial students. That's part of Tulsa's history.

In the fall of ’79, our senior class had three class officers from each Memorial and Mason. We hope to mirror that spirit on our reunion committee. For our 50th Reunion, we want everyone represented.

And good news—joining is open to anyone. It doesn't matter where you live. No invitation needed. All it takes is however much time you can give. We’d love to see involvement from all corners—sports, yearbook, music, pep club, science, drama, government, and beyond.

If you’d like to help, call or text K John at 310-722-0177.
