Andrew Loveall died on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Guatemala. He was buried there after his funeral on Friday, November 1, 2024. An obituary and a memorial service will be offered in Tulsa at a later date. Andrew spent the last 24 years in Guatemala, leading two successive organizations in improving and establishing K-12 schools in Antigua and in parts of Guatemala where making a school happen is tremendously difficult. Along with the schooling, students' families have also been helped with access to medical care, counselling, food, and other care. Andrew is survived by two sons, Jonathan and Robert, who grew up in Guatemala and now are in college in Tulsa. He is also survived by an older sister (Lora Core), an older brother (Sam Loveall, Nathan Hale class of '77), and a younger sister (Margaret Loveall, Nathan Hale class of '83).
