Matt passed away on June 8, 2000, while riding his bicycle at Tulsa River Parks. He was studying computer technology at TCC and working as a Surgical Technologist at St. Francis Hospital at the time of his death. He is survived by his parents, William and Susette and his sister, Emily Scheer, as well as his grandmother Virginia June DeCamp of Tulsa.
