Carrie Tudor

"Carrie Tudor was a beautiful person, a vibrant and well-loved daughter, sister, and friend, and a talented business woman at a hometown company. She was 31 years old when her ex-husband who was unemployed, drug-addicted, and had talked of suicide, shot her and then himself to death at her workplace on February 10, 2005. Carrie didn't know she was at risk. Carrie didn't tell. Carrie's loved ones and employers and co-workers and friends "didn't know what they didn't know" about interpersonal abuse and violence. f.a.c.e.s.(Families and Communities Empowered by Safety) was founded in 2005 in honor of Carrie and others whose lives were lost because they didn't know what they didn't know. f.a.c.e.s. promotes family safety across the lifespan through education, collaboration, community-building, and action. We will always remember Carrie." Sherry Baker Clark, Founder/President of f.a.c.e.s.
