Zo-Zo Lizzie and I made cake batter cookies last week and I was more concerned with not eating the batter than I was with making them. I lost a couple of pounds but, Ya'll really took all the fun out of it. lol Jen - How are things at Park? Robertson is going to Title I next year. What about ya'll? How was everyones Spring Breaks? I know this will really make everyones day but, I just had to share a reminder of just how old we really are. First of all...remember when we worried about partying? Now its more about whether or not we get to sleep in during Spring Break! Actually -I do hope everyone had a great time and stayed safe. Tati was at the 'Alligator Farm' w/friends. So...Zoe and I headed to Branson/SDC with the family. What is a trip to Branson without shopping? Along with buying a place on Table Rock Lake, I bought one of those "Remember When" books dated 1989! Isnt that for those old folks?? Oh yes, and for those of you have sent emails that I just havent gotten to yet...YES!! I have started and am surviving chemo. The countdown is officially on and I currently have 7 treatments left!!

I myself have had my battles lately, but I have been in a remission for about 6 months and feeling great! If you need a good rheumy, let me know, my sister and I have found a great one, and for once, I feel like I have a doctor who understands me! Anyways, I will keep you in my thoughts!

03/31/09 12:18 AM #439     Shannon Geurin (Geurin-Burdess) Lisa - Yes...I am glad you guys are doing well. I was doing great with the Lupus and have gone a good length of time with out any seizures. However, as you know, when you dont have the immune system to fight things off the simplist cold can go crazy in no time. I had a cold and sinus infection before Christmas that went into pheumonia. In Januaray was when they found the first indications that it was more than just pneumonia. I have Stage I Lung cancer in the lower lobe of my left lung. It is inside the lung and is, at this point, very treatable. Please pass on the Drs names you have. I seem to hit a dead-end with my insurance. TTYL - It is past bedtime!

03/31/09 10:01 AM #440     Lisa Crawford (Walden ) My rheumatologist is Dr James McKay and he is with the Oklahoma Center for Arthritis Research, 1430 S Terrance Drive, Tulsa 748-8024. It will take you a while to get in, but worth the wait. He is doing a lot of research on new lupus drugs, which there hasn't been any type of new medication for over 30 years. Maybe it was a blessing that you did get pnemonia, so they found the cancer? That's how I like to look at things, there is always some reason. Maybe we got this terrible disease, just to show everybody how strong we are? I know it has made me have a new lease on life. People take way too much for granted sometimes. I know you have been through many hard times with your health before and you should be able to handle anything! You will be in my prayers! Keep in touch with me!

Hope everyone is able to make it and I'm gonna try...I'm going to have knee surgery and it may be right before that so, that is why I can't say for sure. I will be there if I don't have surgery tho. The way things are going with the insurance company it looks like I won't be having surgery until sometime in September! lol Hope to see ya there!

It was very difficult graduating with strangers. You all wouldnt know who I was that last semester. Once out from under my step-father's thumb and no longer having to help raise my younger siblings, I went a bit crazy. I made mostly C's & D's that semester. I'll try and find a recent photo and post when I can. See you all in June.

The first one will be May 9th @ SOCO's, there is a band playing that plays alot of 80's music and its fairly big, so come out whether your coming to the reunion or not no telling who you might run into from our class and others!!

On one or two they mention it but I was wondering about the ones that have no info. It is sooo terribly sad to hear about their loss, they were so young. My thoughts and prayers to those who left behind families. Maybe they can come to reunion? What if we have a candle vigil on a table somewhere with a sign in book for each one and we can all write in our thoughts and memories for the families and they can take them home? --- just an idea Poor Stacy, does anyone have contact with Tracy Leatherman? I dont see that she has signed up? I would like to see her and give her a big hug! God Bless them

It's amazing to see that so many people have babies while some of us have grown kids, and grandkids. The picnic is going to be so much fun, we are really looking forward to seeing everyone.

She says she isnt going to come to the reunion and wont sign up on the website. She's doing great and living in Tulsa.

We are out to have a good time here people, if any of you are on facebook and have seen the pics of some of our get togethers then you'll know, we still like to have a good time and thats what this is all about! What happened in the past is the past, it has been 20 years I can't wait to see everyone and get everyone together, this event is going to be great or at least thats what I'm trying to accomplish!! Take care all and the deadline for the lower amount is approaching fast so get your money in, after June 1st the cost goes up to 45.00. Cant wait to see you all!! KIM

Or found out that her last name is now Hoffman and she is still living in Tulsa. I will continue to search. She married David Glen Hoffman. I found a David G Hoffman on whitepages.com phone number not listed. I will send a postcard or letter and see if it is her.
