Just bounced in to this by chance today while talking about Heinz with a friend. His dad, Clete, passed away this last week and we went to the funeral service. It was nice. as far as those things go, but in recalling Tom's it was unbelievable how many showed up! SRO Outside the church the grounds were packed full of people that considered him their friend. He had them everywhere he went. I was talking with a couple who had met him at a bar one night a year or so earlier and he remembered both their names, who was playing and he made them feel like they had known him for years! The guy had such an amazing memory and an engaging enchanting personality!
I could go on and on but I need to get back to work.
Its been over 11 years since Tom died and I still miss the old boy because at least once a week he makes me smile thinking about some of the stuff we did.
