Peggy Renea (Hyde) Gillette, 68, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on March 7, 2023. She was born on April 26, 1954 to parents Norman R. Hyde, and Dorothy (Howard) Hyde. Peggy leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.

She is reunited with her father Norman R. Hyde, and aunt Aleeta Howard, uncle Jack Johnson, Aunt Mickey and Uncle James.

She is survived by her mother Dorothy Hyde; sons Zachary Gillette, and Brandon Fitzgerald; brother Donald (and spouse Zelinda) Hyde; sister Sheryl (and spouse Dick) Green; nephews: Chris (and spouse Laura) Hyde; Gregory (and spouse Elissa) Hyde; Daniel (and spouse Brittany) Green; niece: Valeria Hyde; and Miranda (Green) (and spouse Dusty) Hutchinson; grandchildren: Kaleb Gillette; Audry Gillette; Minnie Fitzgerald; aunts and uncles Ricky Howard, and Laura Johnson; along with her life-long best friend and chosen sister Dennie Mouser; and a host of other family and friends that will forever miss her.

Peggy Hyde Gillette's celebration of life will be on Saturday March 18th, 2023 @10:00am, at Carbondale Assembly of God, in west Tulsa. Mom always said, "Westside is the best side!"

(Peggy died in the spring and I, and many others from our class, attended her funeral. Our holiday party, scheduled for next month, will be our first without her and she will be sadly missed. Prayers for her sons, her grandchildren and other family members during this holiday season who still struggle with her loss.)
