Susan Ritchie (Balogh) lost her fight with cancer on August 10, 2012. Even though her cancer returned recently she had hoped that she would be able to attend the reunion, but unfortunately that didn't happen for her.
She had jokingly said that she wasn't paying her fees until a couple of days before the event and was upset when she had to take more chemo treatments and lost her hair again. She was afraid that her wig would go flying off while she was dancing!
Susan has been helping on the committee, scanning photos, selecting the food and volunteering her assistance in every way possible. This is greatly appreciated by all of us.
She is survived by her mother and siblings, her husband Istvan, her children Liz and Chris, and her grandchildren Price, Sam, Abby, Kale, Jadon, Crew and Catcher.
Susan will be missed by tons of people including her family, her Mapco friends, her ladies group, her gardening and Herb Society buddies -- and the Webster Class of 72.
Susan's memorial service will be Sept. 13th at the Tulsa Garden Center 2435 South Peoria, Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 10 a.m. until noon. Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Tulsa Herb Society in Susan's honor.
