Giecquita "Susie" Edison, devoted wife and loving mother passed away on April 6, 2020 with her husband and son at her side. Susie was born in Sallisaw, OK on September 10, 1954. She grew up in southwestern Arizona until moving to Tulsa, OK in high school. She graduated from Daniel Webster High School in 1972 and married her high school sweetheart, Eddie Edison. Susie was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) with her husband and son. While serving youth in BSA she attended Wood Badge and earned the Silver Beaver award along with many others for her dedicated service. Susie cared deeply for her family and friends which included a love of animals, especially poodles, and will be dearly missed.

Susie is survived by her husband Eddie Edison, son, Eddie Edison, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Amanda Edison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Eula Master and her big brother, William "Sony" Masterson.

The family will hold a memorial service in Susie's honor later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Susie's name to benefit Tulsa's Troop 66.
