We were at Tupelo during the saddest and worst time of our lives after our father killed our mother. The staff had a few issues with me running away and fighting etc. but they were very kind. I appreciate all of the kids being sweet to my sister's and I. We remember everything and wouldn't take anything for the experience. If a child has to go to an orphanage, TCM would be the best choice. We were sheltered and cared for and thank everyone at TCM for their love and caring.

Well, we were having a race inside the gym at Lawhon Jr. high. We had to make about 25 or 30 laps to make a mile. I was in the lead and a guy was stopped in the middle of the floor tying his shoe. He was a lap down. As I passed him I jumped over him and it made him mad so he chased me for the last few laps of the race and passed me at the finish line. I didnt see him coming or I could have sped up but I was actually the winner but they said he won. He made it look so dramatic as if he were in the olympics going for the gold.
