Benny Huelett was at the Mansion for a little while, then was adopted by Bro. Drury's cousin. He went by Kent Brown after he was adopted. He passed away in 1993.
I remember Kent and think about him from time to time. He called me his little sister and would hook me around the neck and give me noogies. He was a really sweet guy. He should have been given a better life, and he should have been able to live it fully. I miss him.
I agree Angel he was a great guy and fun to hang around. I still think about him from time to time. It is one of those moments from TCM that I will never forget. The absolute total feeling of chaos, shock, and turmoil when we heard of his death but then the coming together as a "family" and pulling each other through when we went to his funeral. After all these years I can still remember that day like it was yesterday.
Kent and I became alot closer towards the latter part of our teenage years because of some similarities in both our lives. He had a insatiable desire for life and love, and thats why his death was so hard -If he only knew how many loved him. Perhaps his life and death will remind us to make sure we tell those around how much we love them.
I remember all of us growing up so much that year and our friendships getting stronger. Kent was the craziest, most fun loving person I've ever known. He was the truest kind of friend and everyone loved him. If there was something going on, Kent was usually right in the middle of it. He lived big. I cherish the memory of him.
