Helen Marie Embry Bailey, 71, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born October 14, 1941, in Morgantown, KY, to Erdest and Rosie Irene Woodcock Embry, who preceded her in death, along with her two brothers, Jimmie and Johnnie Embry. Helen was a member of Westside Pentecostal Church from 1955 to 1960, where she was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1959. On October 17, 1959, Helen married Kenneth L. Bailey, Sr., who survives. She was a founding member of Drexel Gardens Apostolic Tabernacle since 1960, serving faithfully, in many capacities up until her passing, including teaching Sunday school and Bible Study, Youth Director and Foreign Missions Director.

Helen received her call to the ministry in the early seventies and was a licensed minister with United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
