Nevin E. Buck, 45, of Hershey, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at Hershey Medical Center after a courageous battle with lymphoma. A 1983 graduate of Warrior Run High School, Nevin attended Mansfield University and Bloomsburg University. While studying at Bloomsburg, he toured Europe with the University Choral Department. Nevin moved to Harrisburg and became the owner /operator of GreNev Originals Hair Salon. To further his love of music and singing he attended and graduated with honors from Harrisburg Area Community College. Nevin was a member of the Harrisburg Men's Chorus, and performed at Carnegie Music Hall in New York. He participated in numerous musical productions in Hershey and at the Harrisburg Whittaker Center. In recent years he resided in New York City, where he received a degree from Make-Up Designory located in Soho, and worked as a hairdresser and makeup artist for various TV commercials. Nevin returned to the Hershey area this past year to be near his many friends and return to his music and theater roots.
