Comments:
After years of school activities and horse events, life is slowing down somewhat and Shawn and I are figuring out what to do with the kids mostly out of the house. We are thankful for our health and that of our family as the last 10 years have been a struggle with multiple illness and injuries. I am hoping that the next 10 will be a little less dramatic! 2/17/19- well the less drama thing didn’t happen. Shortly after our thirtieth reunion, (I didn’t attend, I had this cough lasting for weeks) I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer (it had metastasized to my lung) I have been in treatment for almost the entire time and been through multiple surgeries and hundreds of cycles of chemo. Even so, I have thrived, continued working, and met all of my grandchildren. Number nine is due next week.
