I still remember Mike well.  He was one of the first of us (69) to go.  Very talented musician, played violin, clarinet, and a bunch of other things.  His father was a professor at Alabama.  His mother was a real trip, she drove this old cadallic, first car I ever saw with power windows (and it was a 53 or something).  After high school I think he tried college, then went into the Navy.  Came home on leave and commited suicide.  Had lost close touch with him by then but he couldn't have been more than about 20.  Great guy, but tortured soul.  I miss him and his wacky sense of humor.
