 PARAGOULD, ARK. - Terry Frazier Hale, age 65, of Paragould, Ark., passed away October 9, 2016, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Ark. Mr. Hale was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on August 26, 1951 and graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1969. He furthered his studies at the University of Alabama, receiving the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from that institution. Mr. Hale served his country as a member of the United States Army National Guard. He was baptized on August 28, 1968 and was a member of the churches of Christ.Mr. Hale was preceded in death by his parents, LaVoight Frazier Hale and Hildra Bernice Hale (Hunter); his wife, Leann Strong Hale; and a brother, Keith Lynn Hale, all were of Tuscaloosa, Ala. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ricky Glenn and Charlene Kay (Osburn) Hale; a nephew, Joshua Glenn and wife, Mallory Renee (Utley) Hale, all of Paragould, Ark.; a niece, Stephanie Kay (Hale) and husband, Steven Anthony DeWitt of Jonesboro, Ark.; a grand-nephew, Sawyer Wayne Hale; and a grand-niece, Harper Leona Hale, both of Paragould, Ark.; one aunt; and five cousins, all of Alabama; and many other relatives and friends.As per his request, Mr. Hale's ashes will be scattered into the Gulf of Mexico at Fort Morgan at a private service.

Terry and Jimmy Jackson were friends.
