HUNTSVILLE - Cathy Lamb White, age 65, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, the 29th of June, 2017, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to James Otis Lamb and Marjorie Joyce Lamb, in her beloved hometown of Tuscaloosa, where she grew up with her brothers and sisters. Cathy worked at First Protective Life Insurance in Huntsville for almost ten years before she retired in 2013 due to her illness. She was a beloved wife and mother who gave everything she had to her family and her faith. Cathy had a servant's heart and never met a stranger. She is survived by her husband, Robert Blair White II; her children, Robert Blair White III (Molly), Anna Leah Crouse (Evan), and Rebecca Ryan Papendorf (Jeffrey); and her grandchildren, Charlotte Avery Crouse, Naomi Harper Crouse, and Robert Theodore White. Cathy also leaves behind her siblings, Sherry Lamb Powell, Michael Duane Lamb, Connie Sue Lamb, and James David Lamb. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Southside Baptist Church in Huntsville with a memorial service following. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
