TUSCALOOSA | Carolyn McCool Taylor, age 63, of Tuscaloosa, died January 17, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Rev. Roger Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Taylor, her parents, Tom and Zadie McCool, and her brothers, Herbert and Tommy McCool.Survivors include her daughters, Vickie Geer (Chris), of Tuscaloosa, and Kim Grammer (Chris Arnold), of Tuscaloosa; her twin sister, Marilyn Johnson, of Tuscaloosa; her sisters, Frances Willingham, of Northport and Ruby Faulks, of Tuscaloosa; her brothers, Jimmy McCool, of Northport, and Leon McCool, of Northport; her grandchildren, Ashley Haire (Andrew), of Frankfort, Ky., Brandon Shelby, of Tuscaloosa, Brantley Sims, of Tuscaloosa, Jordyn Geer, of Tuscaloosa, and Tori Geer, of Tuscaloosa; and her great-grandchildren, Makenzie Haire, A.J. Haire, and Hannah Haire, all of Frankfort, Ky.Pallbearers will be Chris Arnold, Brantley Sims, Chris Geer, Brandon Shelby, and Chris Olmstead.Honorary pallbearers are ACCU and CSICU nurses and doctors at DCH Regional Medical Center and friends.
