As most of you are aware we just had our 40th class reunion this past summer.Since then I have made contact with some of our old classmates and it got me to searching for some long lost friends.One of which was Mike. I met Mike in the 9th grade and it was though we had know each other forever.We became very close and did everything together, from running track, playing football and even working together at the old Butler's shoe store in downtown Tuscaloosa after school and on weekends.We were friends. Then after graduation we went our separate ways. Even though we were apart it was as though we weren't apart. For in life we are fortunate to have friends that we can share life with but even more so if we have one close friend that we could truly trust and share without hesitation and that was Mike. For those of you whom may not have know Mike, he was a free spirit and a joy to be around, but during my search I found out that Mike left this life on December 10th,1982 in a tragic accident while living in Colorado.There is so much I could tell.......but will only say that he is missed.......Robert Nix
