
Rob Cooper
CORINTH, Miss. A memorial service and celebration of the life of Robert Henry Cooper Jr. will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Corinth, Miss. on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Donald Elliot will officiate.
Mr. Cooper died Friday, September 7, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 3, 1951, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where he attended the University of Alabama. He was a Professional Land Surveyor by trade and upon moving to Corinth, Miss. in 1995, he worked at Scott Engineering Company until his retirement in 2011.
Rob loved his family and friends, his church and Alabama football. Rob attended and served as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church and was of the Christian faith.
Rob was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Cooper, and his parents, Robert and Cleo Cooper.
Survivors include a brother, Mickey Cooper of Seattle, Wash., his wife of 29 years, Susanne Cooper, their son, Robert Thomas "Beau" Cooper, his daughter-in-law, Sarah Cooper, his grandson, Robert Deegan Cooper, and his nephew, Martin Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church World Mission Fund, 919 East Shiloh Road, Corinth, MS 38834.
