Belinda Kelley (Kromer)
Dear Class Brothers and Sisters,
Today, Wednesday, Febrary 18, 2026, a new precious angel got her wings. Our "Jillie girl", Jill Baby, Jill Davis Starks, won her eternal life pass and left cancer in the dust! She fought a hard and long fight and all the while loving on all of us. In the past few months, Jill has struggled with new treatments for what started years ago as pre-leukemia to full blown in 2025. On top of the harsh treatments, Jill had fallen and had suffered a great deal from that. She never lost her faith or her love for all of us.
Yes, she was going to be at the 55th reunion and we were already planning how she would get there and how it would all work out. God had other plans and while my heart is really sad for us, I am happy for her that she is healed and whole again. As many of you know, her Ronald got his angel wings just a few months ago and Jill's grief was real. I wish I could have been a fly on the clouds of heaven as she was once again reunited with the love of her life. It is hard to imagine our class reunions and gatherings without her. Jill was instrumental in past reunion planning and we have lots of pictures of the planning committee meetings to prove it. She called class members and hounded them to make sure no one missed out. She took care of our banking for many years for us and so much more. To say she loved us all would be an understatement. She visited so many of us in the hospital, attended funerals for class family members and many of our parents. We were and will always be her family! "Jillie girl" was one of a kind and has certainly left forever footprints on my heart. I will treasure the blessings of my precious friend forever.
Please keep her daughter Lindsey, son Ramsey, all her grands and other family members in your thoughts and prayers. I will update you all with the services and plans as I get them.
Love you all very much and God bless you all today and always,
Belinda Kelley Kromer
