Monique died as a result of a car accident. She was blessed with 2 sets of twins. One son and one daughter survive her. Monique's beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Monique was my cousin and my best friend. She and I stayed together many nights during our youth years. We were somewhat alike in many ways. We were quiet, sweet, kind, and always respectful to everyone. She is truly missed by me and I know today she would have been a great mother and a wonderful grandmother. Monique has two beautiful children and a new grandson thats not even a year old today. I miss her tremendously. I will always love her beautiful spirit and beautiful smile. Monique departed from us June 3, 1991.
When Monique and two of her children, one from each set of twins, left us due to the negligence of a drunk driver was one of the darkest days I will never forget. The night before the funeral I just couldn't sleep. I had so many questions..."why"..."how come." That day my faith was tested, but while listening to all the wonderful and encouraging words of faith I was uplifted and inspired and I knew she was in a better place. SHE WAS SO LOVED!
Both of her surviving children, boy and girl, came through Boulter Middle School. Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of having them in my class and never had a chance to talked to them, but about two years ago I ran into this beautiful young man at a business. I kept staring at him until I finally asked him who his mother was. He told me Monique Ross. My eyes watered with joy and I told him, "Boy, your mother's face is all over yours!"
I miss her dearly but she will always be in my heart! By the way, concerning the picture on the left, we are at the Earl Campbell gym proudly picking up our graduation items :-)
