Dear Carrie: It has been over 35 years since I last saw you. I don't know how it happened but somehow we lost touch after so many many years of friendship. It brook my heart when I called and David told me you had Lou Gherigs disease. I thought about you often then but I guess I was being selfish because I could not bring myself to come to Tyler to see you that way. I just felt it would be so hard to see you like that. I am sorry.
