A celebration for Linda Bland Sandefer, 72, of Tyler, Texas, will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Tyler Memorial Park in Tyler with Minister Megan Keele officiating.
Mrs. Sandefer made her way home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Tyler with family and friends by her side. She was born on September 30, 1952, in Tyler, to RG and Mary Hendrix Bland.
Linda was a member of The Potter’s House Church of Dallas and loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a passion for gardening and spent some of her happiest moments digging in her flowerbeds with her dogs. She was smart, beautiful, direct and an unwavering advocate for all her family.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, RG Bland; mother, Mary Bland; brother, Richard Bland and dog, Biscuit.
She is survived by her loving family including her husband, Eddie Sandefer; son, Beck Sandefer; daughter, Jennifer Sandefer; favorite son-in-law, Brent Dolbey; grandchildren, Sylas Sandefer and Kai Stevens; great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Bland and his wife, Sue Bland; Michele Bland, wife of the late Richard Bland; niece, Amy Cunningham; nephew, Dennis Bland and great-niece, Aspen Cunningham. Linda also shared a very special and loving relationship with her aunt, Joy McAllister, each always being there for the other.
