I am sorry to hear of James' passing.  Although I did not really know him during high school, we became friends a few years later through mutual friends.  James was very intelligent and I enjoyed our conversations on many occassions, covering any number of subjects and, he had a unique insight.  He was also very funny with a quirky sense of humor.  I had not seen him in decades but I am saddened that he is no longer among us.  May his memory be a blessing to those who loved him and those who called him friend.
