The last couple of times I called and talked with Bruce, he was very happy about hearing from old classmates and it made him feel better for awhile. What a strong and faithful person he was and now he is free from the agony he was suffuring from and with our savior in heaven! He is at peace, Amen... Jena Judd

I became friends with Bruce at Hogg Junior High School.  He sat across the aisle from me in 8th Grade Language Arts.  I will always remember his kindness and his sense of humor.  He was a true friend.  I wish many of us could have been closer to him during this last difficult year.  Rest in peace dear friend.  Your friends will always remember you.

I'm so thankful we found out about Bruce's condition and were able to communicate with him before his passing.  I remember him from Hogg Junior High, REL and UT Austin.  We were not close friends, but I always enjoyed seeing him and hearing what he had to say. It was a blessing to reconnect with him and pray for him in the last days of his earthly journey.

I first met Bruce many decades ago at Gary Elementary.  All during Gary, Hogg, REL years, Bruce sat directly behind me in many classes due to our last names/alphabetical order seating.  He was always kind, interested in his classmates, & was truly a dependable friend.  Since renewing our friendship years ago after he moved to Florida & computers were available, Bruce stayed in touch regularly both via email & written notes, cards.  He was an unusual, intelligent, sweet man who always thought more of others than himself & who always saw the positive, best in the rest of us.  Bruce will be missed.  I am thankful that he is free of pain & reunited with his beloved parents.
