John Richard Langston, age 71 of Rockwall, TX, passed away May 12, 2023. He was born October 7, 1951, in Henderson, TX, to John T. and Helen (Bell) Langston. John enjoyed a long career as a teacher.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Frieda (Karlen) Langston of Rockwall, TX; son: John S. Langston and wife Jennifer of Rockwall, TX; grandson: John B. Langston; granddaughters: Holly A. Langston and Abigail R. Langston; sisters and brothers-in-law: Cheryl and Paul Sanders of Dallas, TX, Linda and Ed Smith of McKinney, TX, and Kelly and Ken Brown of Atlantic Beach, FL; brother: Kraig Keith of Dallas, TX; aunt and uncle: Betty and Ed Holloway of Cedar Park, TX; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by a son: Justin T. Langston; his father: John T. Langston; mother: Helen Langston Keith; and stepfather: E. Wayne Keith.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 16, 2023, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall Location.
