
AUBURN, KS - Lori A. (nee: Dummer) Aubey passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55 on Thursday, November 24, 2011. Born March 9, 1956, Lori grew up in the town of Raymond. It was there she developed her love of horses and dogs, going on to show and breed them for many years. Upon graduating form Union Grove High School, she went on to pursue a career in nursing, earning her RN degree. She worked many years at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee in the Cardiac Care Intensive Unit. Throughout her career she held many different positions and was currently employed at the Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, MO as an Acute Care Services Manager. On January 30, 1993, she wed James (Jim) Aubey. Together they had one daughter, Sarah Katherine. Lori was an exceptional mother and was happiest surrounded by her entire family. She spent many lazy days with Sarah watching I Love Lucy and the Carol Burnett Show on DVD. They both were avid Packer fans and looked forward to spending time together watching the games. Other survivors include her Father, Gordon Dummer (Nancy Johnson) of Gold Canyon, AZ; brothers, Michael (Naomi) Dummer of Franksville, Steven (Linda) Dummer of Waterford; sister, Bonnie (George) Kopulos of Racine; nieces and nephews, Michael (Jennifer) Dummer, Kristin Dummer, Kelli (C.J.) Torosian; Stephanie (Jordon) Street, Cody Dummer, Katie Mueller, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara (Whitley) Dummer and nephew, Jonathan Mueller. Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Auburn Presbyterian Church 1151 Washington St., Auburn, KS. Per Lori's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will hold a celebration of Life ceremony at a later date in Racine.
