Randy J. Loppnow, age 59, died on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN. He was born August 8, 1956 in Racine, the son of Floyd "Butch" and Geraldine (Kaye) Loppnow.

Randy was a 1974 graduate of Union Grove High School. While going to school he met and later married his first wife, Deborah Van De Bruggen, they had two daughters.

Randy was a hard working farmer and trucker for many years and later owned and operated Randy Loppnow Trucking and Loppnow Lawn Service. He also worked for James River Paper manufacturing until it closing and currently was working for Ashland Mats. He married Shelley Johanik on May 3, 2014.

Randy was an outdoorsman who enjoyed smelting, bear hunting and deer hunting. His other hobbies were watching the Packers and NASCAR. He also had several memorable Elk hunting trips with his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughters, Jenna (Adam) Lindquist and Britani (Steve Wilson) Loppnow; step-daughter, Savannah; mother, Geraldine Loppnow; 3 brothers, Wayne (Sandra), Larry (Barb) and Rick (Lori) Loppnow; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Randy was preceded in death by his dad and a sister, Kaye Hinrichs.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
