Karen Lee Melby passed away at Memorial Hospital of Burlington on Friday, January 8, 1999 from a head-on car crash.  Karen was 42. She was an Optometrist and also liked to garden and sew.  She is survived by twin sister and class-mate Kay Peden, husband David (class of 1973) daughter Carrie, son David and many family members.  She is also survived by class-mate June and Patrick (Melby) Rogers. Pat was in the class of 1973.
