I remember Rosalia Vitale from Jackson Park Elementary School. She was this skinny kid with very long curly and wavy hair. We didn't hang out in grade, middle or high school, but I remember her. I am very sad to hear of her passing. It just goes to show you that we never know what is to be expected in this life. I can only hope the Rosalia's soul is resting in God's peace. The class of 1978 will always remember you.
Rosie and I became buddies in high school, spending much of our spare time playing spades in the "break room". We had many great excursions over to the East Side (we were NEVER carded). She honored me when she agreed to be my Maid of Honor. I lost touch with her when my family started growing and that is something I was always regret. She was a good friend and I will miss her.
