Jim's death was sudden and schocking. He attended the 10 reunion and looked great and had so much fun. I think he was th most changed in apprearence at that reunion. Carol Gillespie
Jim was a truly funny guy. I remember getting to hang out with him and Jim Freeman my freshman year at Hastings. We had the Ah Buddah Club ... I was never sure what we were doing, but they got me to do the craziest things. It was surely a shock that he went so young.
I got a call one day from Jim asking if I wanted to make some money. I said sure, but doing what? His response was three bucks and hour to pass out Sensenbrener flyers for the election. We did. A few years later for the JFK election I got another call from Jim, again to pass out flyers but this time we would cover UA and would be paid $2 per block. We did and were paid in silver dollare, about 50 each. I still have mine, well most of the anyway.
I miss Jim. He always made people laugh, either at him or his jokes.
