Good ol' Tom . . . knew him all of my young life in the old neighborhood of U.A. where he joined-in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with the rest of us.  He participated in track, intramurals, and Spanish club and sang in a couple of the choirs.  More than the above, however, Senor Decker was a bit of a risk-taker during the 50's and early 60's.  You can tell something about a young man when you watch him playing softball or baseball . . . . the ones who STEAL BASES are going to become the adventurers in later life.  That, I think, was Tom.  He and Andy Lowry and Dwight David Eaton, John Spitler, and Jim Heap strove to circle the diamond in a single bound.  Very dangerous - and lots of fun!

Well, Tom, I wish you great joy in your new life "on the other side of the veil" as they say in the South.  God Bless you and your family.  The adventure continues, old friend!

I only remember Tom from our days at OU. He was SO much fun to be around! Heaven will be a happier place now that you are there.
