So sorry to hear of his passing . . . Stan was in several classes with me in school and I remember how intelligent he was. Kaiser would focus on a problem or a question from an instructor with such intensity - like so many of our classmates, he had real talent and concentration!
So sorry to hear this. Paul (or Stan, as he went by then) was my next-door neighbor and original friend when we moved to 3445 Henderson Road in 1960 and his family lived at 3435. We shared a love of all things mechanical and with his dad's help spent many hours tinkering with all kinds of powered devices -- Whizzer and Cushman motor scooters, garden tractors, and the like. We became "airport bums" at Don Scott Field and both of us wound our way into aviation careers, Paul as a helicopter pilot for the Columbus police department for almost 35 years; he was stricken in the pilot's seat of his police helicopter as he completed pre-takeoff checks for a night mission, and there were many testimonials from fellow officers and citizens of his critical and brave efforts on their behalf.
We lost touch over the years and I hadn't corresponded with him in probably 15 years now. But he was a good friend, a good man, a good police officer and thus a good neighbor to the whole city. God bless you, my friend.

In 2010 we confirmed the loss of Paul. As a class we all feel the loss of each member.

Sorry to learn this. Paul was one of my first crushes. I recall his shoe being thrown at me
in study hall as a way of introduction.
