John and I have been together 18 years, married for 16. :) Katie came along in 1992, and we moved to our home in Southfield in 1997, so our daughter could attend Birmingham Schools. She is now a sophomore and is taking driver's ed this summer. I am terrified.
I graduated from Oakland University with a journalism degree in 2003 and have been working at a community newspaper in Ortonville (The Citizen, www.thecitizenonline.com) since 2004. I love it, but the commute is getting old. I aspire to the Free Press. :)
